The Jury statement:
“Children are reluctant to share what they love most with others. But that is exactly what the protagonist of this story has to do. Embedded in warm colours and a largely ideal world, the film consistently tells the story of searching for, finding and sharing real friendships from a child's perspective. In a completely unagitated way, it paints a contemporary picture of society that is characterised by diversity and variety. The Film Critics' Prize goes to the Swedish film "Mini-Zlatan and Uncle Darling" by Christian Lo. Congratulations!”
