After the summer we started production of the 2D-animated, fantasy comedy series THE HEDGE OF THE WORLD, 26x7 min, by Esben Toft Jacobsen and scripts by Jannik Tai Mosholt and Rune Schjøtt-Wieth. A series for children 6-9 y.o. and their families.

The production is headed by Tall and Small (DK), Snowcloud Films (SE), Vi Glæder os Preben (DK) and Nørlum (DK), in co-production with Denmarks Radio and regional film fund Den Vestdanske Filmpulje, with financing from Nordisk Film & TV Fond, Nordvision (SVT, NRK, RUV, Swedish speaking YLE) and world sales by Newen Connect (FR).

A few weeks ago, a large part of the team involved in the production had a start-up week in Viborg at the animation studio Nørlum, where we had a three day intensive course in rigged animation by GS Animation (PL) that are creating our character rigs for the show, and a lot of other meetings and introductions getting a good start for the show.

We have just started animation and will share further information later through public channels. This is a sneak preview behind the scenes, with some photos taken by team members and approved to be shown. No visuals of the series will be published just yet, since we are so early in production.
